Anyways, I choose my name cause it was random and first thing that came to mind. Porlest well I just kept carrying it on. Abaddon Walker was cause of Abaddon's mouth and I thought it sounded evilish for a necro so and wakling the abyss is something dead things do so yah. Hug Me Im Cute Girl and Hello Im Bunny Two are just random as well. I Strawberry Flavor cause Im wouldn't fit and I like strawberry the best.

My main character is my mesmer: Ockhams Razor - a reference to the theory of Occams Razor by William Ockham. He spawned a string of Razor characters: Razor Spears, Razor Arrowhead, Scythe Razor, Razor Knives, and most recently Hanlons Razor (a nod to another analytical theory). Some of these have since been deleted.
Humble Token is my monk. Not really sure why I named him that but it seems fitting for the play style of monking.
Then there's my necro R O T - simple and concise. I think originally I got it from the skill Rotting Flesh.
And my most misunderstood name of my characters: Undiscovered Comfy - which is actually a partial line from a poem I wrote when I was really stoned (...lost in a glaze of red-eye and drop-mouthed...).

As far as deleting/renaming... I once had a warrior named Tough S H I T which I was forced to rename after a short suspension (apparently someone was offended o.0). Anyway, he became Totally Hammered, but has since been deleted altogether. I didn't like him as much without the original name.

Zhuo Yu - Started off naming my characters after the dynasty warriors crew. (the correct spelling was taken)
I use Roughstar as my last name in PVE and then give them a cool first name
Kasaigi Roughstar - an asian character, so I gave him a cool japanese sounding name.
Roderick Roughstar - have you ever heard a cooler sounding name than roderick?
Cale Roughstar - Cale was random but now it is my PVP name. Go figure.

From third grade until my sophomore year in college Gibson was my best friend. We had many other friends, but Gibson and I had that special synergy that made life enjoyable and fun. He was my hunting and fishing partner, my all-around best buddy, and my best man when I got married. We went to different colleges, but stayed in touch.

During my sophomore year in college Gibson died in a car accident.

I named my character after him and think of him often when I play. Gibson Misho is a righteous warrior, one who will put in the extra effort to help others, just as he would have been.

Azinna Videl (monk)
Back when I was playing Diablo 2, I had a sorceress named Azinna. Just something I came up with. And when I decided to play GW, I found out you need to have a last name too. So while watching Dragonball Z on tv, there was a female character named Videl. I put the two together and voila! Had her for almost 2 years now and she has never been deleted or remade.

Kira Videl (spear assassin)
A former guildie of mine helped me decide a first name for her. It's from the Mortal Kombat games.

Charsi Videl (ele)
'Charsi' is a npc name from Diablo 2. First started out with a different last name.

Alexis Videl (warrior)
Just picked a common female first name at random.

Violet Videl (mesmer)
Character wise, she loves purple stuff (armor, items, etc) so hence the first name 'Violet'.

Andariel Vadala (dervish)
'Andariel' is a boss in Diablo 2. I made up 'Vadala'.

Red Hot Ritt (rit)
Just a cool name I came up with for a character that likes things red, including her hair.

Vorcia Mandella (ranger)
In D2, had a necro named Vorcio. Changed the last O to A. 'Mandella' is an actual term for a type of poisonous frog. She first started out using poison-based skills so that's why.

Silvur Angel (paragon)
I originally wanted 'Silver Angel' but was already taken. So I changed the first name spelling.

Lynni Samus (necro)
'Lynni' is a girl I once knew a long time ago. 'Samus' comes from the Metroid games.

Blood And Roses is my mesmer, and i adore her. It's actually a song by a name i can't remember now, but I first heard the cover by Prime STH.

Chasing Rainbows is my ranger. Usually I'm not a fan of "bow" names, but my primary goal with her was to get Legendary survivor, so for a while i really felt like i was chasing rainbows. (She got the title)

Life in Solitude is my solo monk. Quite simply.

Out of Rehab is my favorite one, my paragon spending all his cash getting the drunkard title.

Don't know how I came up with Kid in a Candystore, but since she's mostly just a storage character it's actually quite fitting.

Some toons I rarely use, such as Perfect Lovesong, Spirit Redux (ritualist), Soft And Fluffy (my warrior) and Sinful Bride as my necro.

Vala Tura, Val Atura, V A L A T U R A - Years ago, in the early days of low poly 3D for the internet, I made a 3D sculpture. The thing is it was the early days, and I had a 2.1 gb SCSI hard drive ("all the space you'll ever need," said the man who built my puter for me), and I couldn't run a 3D modeling program (like 3DSM or Lightwave) without removing all the other graphic programs first. So...

I wrote the file myself in ASCII. I wrote a lot of low poly models myself, but this was the most complex... it has 488 verts.

A very talented friend thought she should have a name and suggested Valatura. I loved it. Well it was a LOT better than "488-vert-sculpture-made-by-a-woman-crazy-enough-to-write-the-file-herself", so...

she became Valatura. And when I started playing GW, I decided to use the name in honor of my friend.

Ima Zhouyista - The ZhouYi is a 3,000 year old book that was written in ancient China. A gentleman who has written a translation and interpretation of the book jokingly dubbed students of the ZhouYi Zhouyistas. I'm a student of the book, so... Ima Zhouyista.

Tian Kun Li- Chinese for heaven, earth, clarity (the kind of clarity as in communication, understanding)

Nightmare Venom: I used to play Soul Calibur a lot before I got GW. Nightmare was the character I would play the most. Venom is the name of my favourite Spiderman villian. So Nightmare Venom sort of stuck from there.

Carnage Nightmare: I originally planned for any characters I made to have Nightmare in their name. Carnage is the son of Venom in the Spiderman series

Spirits of Evil: I knew I would be creating a lot of spirits when I made my Rt. So I wanted Spirits in his name. I couldn't think of what else to have in his name, so I went for "of Evil"

I Evil Arrow I: I remember someone suggesting I make a ranger with the name "I Evil Bow I". But I didn't like it so I changed it slightly to the name he has now.

I Thunderstorm I: When I made my ele, I just thought what happens when you see thunder and lightning. So I gave him the name that seemed to fit it perfectly

I Mr Killjoy I: Mr Killjoy is the title from a song that I listened to one day.

I Evil Spear I: This name just goes along the same lines as my ranger. Only a Paragon uses a Spear instead

I merged names from Books i enjoyed reading.
Murtagh Deadmoon (My Assassin): Murtagh came from Inheritance trilogy. Deadmoon came from the Dragonlink series, they were an elite band of assassins.
Kronus Shadeslayer: My friend and I were discussing cool names we could use when we got GW, he said Kronus, i got the game first and bam taken. Shadeslayer is again from Inheritance Trilogy.
Tanis Quickblade: Took Tanis from Dragonlance.
My other random characters have random references to Raymond E Feist's books.

Armored Vehicle (Warrior) : I wanted something to match the word "Tank" and Armored Vehicle its what came up first.
Ganni The Monk (Monk): Ganni in maltese means John and so its John The Monk.
Dark Ganni (Necro): Same Explanation as above so its Dark John.
Crazy Arrowz (Ranger): I was thinking Crazy Arrows when I was about to make the character But name was taken so I Made the "z" instead of "s" at the end.
Shadow of D Beast (Assassin): The name comes from an old Amiga game from the 90's.
Signet of Brainhack (Mesmer): I wanted a name to describe what a mesmer does and thats the result.

I have a female warrior as well, Winter Stardust. I named my ele, Sunset Kid, after a cowboy from an old snes game, livealive. My necro, mesmer and assasin also have Kid as their lastname, Sunny, Sundae and Sunrise. Lastly my monk's name is Stoner Sunshire.

Sol Faithman - first MMO, got into the whole Wammo mind set, and really liked the Raven books, hence Sol (leader of the Raven) and Faithman coz it sounded remotely monk like.

Harriet Keogh - Harry Keogh from the Necroscope books was taken, so I made a female necro to bag Harriet

Evan Lustbader - Eric Van Lustbader wrote the Ninja books so very appropriate for an Assassin!

Solina Faithman - female wammo, Sol's younger sister...sad really!!

Kushana Kurenai (Ranger) Something from Miyazaki's Nausicaa and Kurenai which means "Deep red" in Japanese. It's also a very good X Japan song. She's a redhead who always wears red. I think the name sounds great.

Namara Neskaya (monk) Namara is a name I love. I think it comes from a rapier in Neverwinter Nights "Namara neversleeps" or something like that. Neskaya again comes from Darkover. Again, I think it sounds great.

Depravda Sophia (Necro) Invented it for Kraland sometime ago. Formed with Pravda (truth) and privative suffix De, meaning in fact lie and Sophia, Wisdom in greek.

Tiamat Sombreflamme (Ele) The first name comes from a mesopotamian goddess - a dragon, really- and the surname is Darkflame in French.

Agony Haunts (Rit) Well, she uses spirits and besides, its a funny name, so there.

Mehtera Mhenensi (D) Pure invention, sounds arabic, good enough for me.

Val Toreth (P) Originally it was a mule, and she's still part-time mule. I gave her the name of an "administration" character, who happens to be a male. I'll probably delete her anyway.

I also have Cotton Swab the monk, Xiombarg Swordqueen (taken from Michael Moorcocks Eternal Champion books, but I really wish I had not chosen this name now. hehehe) the necromancer, Tyche Orb the elementalist, and Carrie Mebooty who is my mule. =)
